If a patient is receiving chemotherapy in an office setting and has a reaction, chemo is stopped and oxygen admininstered (eg. 2L per nasal cannula), is the oxygen separately billable or is it included in the chemo visit.

I found a previous post regarding oxygen/chemo but the MLN talks about renting or dispensing or filling oxygen equipment and doesnt really answer this question. can you help? http://www.cms.hhs.gov/MLNMattersArt...ads/SE0840.pdf

did you ever detemine if the oxygen is billable? I have the same circumstances happen in our office this week and not sure if/how we can bill or if it is covered in the facility charge. Thanks,
Amy
