I am wanting to know if a therapist visit can overlap with a psychiatry visit? A patient is changing medications and wants their psych visit to overlap with the therapy visit to make sure everything is going well. Is this allowed with their normal codes? 90837 for therapy 99214 for psychiatry. Is there a collaboration code they should use instead of their regular code? If so, does one provider use a collab code and one use their normal code? Appreciate any knowledge and clarification!
