A non-neoplastic uterus (88307) with the rt ovary in the same container that happens to have a tumor.. should that specimen be charged as 88307x2- one for uterus, other than neoplastic and one unit for ovary, neoplastic to reflect to neoplastic finding in ovary.
Is the ovary at that point separately billable and not incidental? Any feed back would be great! Thanks

Ovaries diagnosed with significant pathology are separately chargeable from the associated uterus. So, bill 88307x2 with confidence.
