My doctor met with the wife & son of a terminally ill established patient. The patient was admitted to the Hospitalists' Service 7 days prior to the appointment wife & son had in the office. The patient was discharged 2 days later. Both the patient and wife are established patients, covered by Medicare. In the dictation, my doctor states "over 50 minutes were spent in total..."
