If a client is coming in for a supply visit for a previously prescribed method like depo which is noted in patient health record the code should be v25.49. Unfortunately this is not an acceptable code for the insurance company.
What code should we used? Can v25.9 Unspecified contraceptive management (the type of birth control is noted in the client's health record) be used.
