We have a NP that has joined our practice and does ostomy care at the hospital and we would like to start billing for this does anyone know where I can get info on which codes to use. I have been told to use E &M codes outpt 99211-99215 or inpt 99231-99233 does this sound correct? and would these be the same codes for both the initial and the follow up care or is there separate codes for that? Thanks for any help you can give me.
