Hello,
One of our dr's saw a patient in the hospital. while in house he did an injection. I am billing the consult, but no sure if we can bill he 20610 for injection only. The medication I know the hosp would bill. Please let me know.

You can always append modifier -25 to the initial evaluation/consultation as long as the examination qualifies and then bill out the administration of the injection.
