I have an op note stating he did a ORIF of the 2nd and 3rd TMT joints and Primary arthrodesis of the same joints.....
Patient had Left midfoot fracture dislocation, second, third, fourth and fifth TMT joints. Only treated the 2nd and 3rd joints.
It seems too much to bill for both for the same joints. Any suggestions?? The description sounds like an arthrodesis except he does a reduction and uses plates instead of just screws.
