Is anyone familiar with billing inpatient substance abuse va claims to optum? I seem to only be able to bill one dos per claim

I am not real familiar with them, but my experience with them is each Dr who is providing care to the patient in the hospital is responsible for getting their own pre-authorization. Substance abuse could be different, but this has been my experience with "regular" hospital stays. I have always called them, yes, long wait times, and been able to get authorization over the phone.
