Looking for opinions on risk adjustment coding.. is this a good field to get into for someone relatively new to the coding world? Also, I will be taking a competency test for this position, I was told it would only cover ICD-9, this makes me almost as nervous as when I took my credentialing test. It is timed, 30 minutes with 30 questions. I do not see how anyone, especially someone new, could look up codes that fast, one question one minute.
