What dx code would you have assigned?

Why is the test being done? You can't use the ESRD as primary, there has to be a reason they are doing a cardiac test besides ESRD. You would have to query the provider for more info. Sometimes they do the test prior to transplant surgery in which case you would use a V code first and the ESRD second. In this example you just don't have enough info to assign a dx code.
