Wiki Ophthalmologist billing E/M codes vs 92002-92014

I've got an ophthalmologist who is billing for services using an E/M code rather than the vision codes (92002-92014).

Which are the correct codes to bill?

They may use either code set depending on the level of exam etc.

The reason the other codes were created because its harder to get a higher level for an eye doctor than most other physician specialties. So in addition to 95 vs 97 guidelines, you have 3 options and you pick the method that is the most favorable.
