I stumped on this scenario--
A primary open achilles tendon repair was performed with suturing of the the torn ends of the achilles tendon-no graft involved. I'm coming up with CPT 27650 for this.
However, the surgeon states he performed a posterior compartment fasciotomy to allow easier closure of the paratenon.
Wouldn't the fasciotomy be included with the primary procedure of CPT 27650 as part of the repair to the achilles tendon?
