am trying to find out if Omnipaque is payable in a PROCEDURE ROOM - not an ASC.

Omnipaque is a contrast media used to assist with fluoroscopy.

thank you for your help!!

Hello,

We bill Omnipaque for some of our procedures and some carriers pay it and some do not. Just bill across the board and you will see who does and doesn't

Contrast media

Can anyone provide a good reference that classifies contrast media, such as high, low, or other (iso-osmolar), etc.? This is key to coding many inpatient procedures with ICD-10. Thanks.
