Our offices are located in a hospital, however, we are not affiliated with them in any way, we are independent, we are just conveniently located. We had a patient brought to our office from the hospital inpatient fl. (which is just an elevator ride).
Now I am being denied the office visit saying pt is inpatient. What pos am i supposed to use? I know pt is inpatient , but that is not where we provided service? Pt is not in any global.
Any thoughts would be helpful.
