How would you bill for the office visit and pacemaker check 14 days post op? Can you bill for the pacemaker check and does it need a modifier? Thank you

Pacemaker check

Do you mean a pacemaker interrogation? If so then you can bill the interrogation with no modifier (unless you do not own the equipment and then you must append the 26 modifier), however there would be no office visit charge unless the patient had other issues going on: then you would append the 24 modifier on the E&M
