Is it possilbe for a multi provder OB practice to bill out the OB package "Ala Carte"? I have the providers who want to get credit for their portion. Is this possible I can't find where they say it has to be global because they share the same practice. Help Does anyone have any idea or documentation that it has to be one way or the other.

Our CFO breaks it out for the docs after delivery. We have a "dummy" code + modifier that we use for each global visit (99200-ob). Once the patient delivers we get a report from our PMS that lists each visit with which doc and the CFO does the math.

If all care was done in one practice, you have to bill out a global code. To do any different is considered unbundling. It doesn't matter how many docs see that patient. If they all report under the same TIN, then you have to bill prenatal care out globally.
