Can a Nurse Practitioner bill a palliative care new patient visit when they belong to the same group as the Oncologist if the patient is an existing patient of the Oncologist?

If the patient has professional services from the physician in the same group and the same specialty, and the Nurse Practitioner is part of the same group and specialty, then no, it would not be a new patient.
