I have a Nurse Practitioner that bills exclusively from a residential treatment provider. The client's she serves are in a sub-acute residential treatment setting. She performs an initial history and physical evaluation and manages their detox throughout their stay. A billing company has her putting H0010 as the code for her services, but that is the same code the facility uses on their billing (minus the 0126 rev code). Clients are getting their superbills denied and I am looking for a way to assist then with their claim submsision. What would be a more reasonable code?
