Patient seen on 08-20 has an office visit and they stick the fistula to evaluate it and perform angioplasty. 35476, 75978 & 36147 all with a 000 Global days.
Patient returns 08-27 to see if it is maturing they perform another Balloon angioplasty in the AV Graft. 35476, 75978, 36147.
Question can an office visit be charged when the Angioplasty is done same day?? Patients states some numbness in the arm, CC is "PT here for evaluation ESRD"Any advice would be appreciated!!!

Patient returns 08-27 to see if it is maturing they perform another Balloon angioplasty in the AV Graft. 35476, 75978, 36147. Here the evaluation is already done in the first visit so you cannot do it again for the second visit in the problem is same,

But Here patient says some numbness in the arm, CC is "PT here for evaluation ESRD , since the numbness in the arm is new problem the doctor will have to do E/M so boviously you can bill office visit with mod 25 and the follow up procedure.

But two E/M cannot be billed on the same day by the same physician or doctor.
