Wiki no medical reason

We have a patient who had a B12 injection, the doctor noted that he informed the patient they would be responsible as there is no medical necessity for it. What ICD-9 Code can you use for something that has no medical necessity? I have to post one to go with the charge. Is there such a thing?

Did the patient want the injection because they thought there was a problem? If so, maybe V65.5?
