Hi there--
Im researching what unlisted px code might be in use right now to bill for nitric oxide therapy in the setting of cardiothoracic surgery for profee charges.
After researching payor policy bulletins I can see that unless my patient is a neonate or has pulmonary hypertension in the setting of repair of congenital heart disease, Im probably not going to get this paid at all.
But I was just wondering what unlisted code would be best?
33999? It just doesn't seem right. Any suggestions?
