If a neurologist or an orthopaedic doc with a subspecialty in our Orthopaedic group sees a patient who has been seen by one of our Orthopaedics in the past 3 yrs, wouldn't the patient be coded as established?

If your group has separate specialties then you would be able to submit a New Patient code if that patient sees the orthopedist and then the Neurologist in <3 years.
