Good Morning: I would really appreciate input on this. I have just started with podiatry and would like someone to confirm the codes to use for Trim skin lesion. If the doctor does 10 lesions would the coding be 11055 for the 1st one, 11056 for the 2 to 4 and then 11057 for over 4? with the 51 modifier or simply the 11057, over 4? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.
 
You can use only the 11057 when performing the procedure on more than 4 lesions. You may not code the other 2 at the same time.

you would only use all it they were add on codes they have (+) sign in front
example look at 11100 and below it 11101

good luck i done pod for 6 yrs
go onto medicare and print out the CPT's showing what diag to use w/each.
