I'm second guessing myself.....
We have a patient, who has a Medicare Advantage insurance. He had a RT total hip replacement 6/3/10. He came back into the office on 7/16/10 for RT hip pain. Dr diagnosed him with RT trochanteric bursitis. I'm thinking this would be considered a new problem w/in a post op period, even though it is around the same area, and not a complication w/in a post op period. Please help!
