We are an Urgent Care center and New Patients, that we have never seen, are wanting to be examined for the Coronavirus. We have a sign posted outside to ask them to go back to their car and call us. So we are doing somewhat of a Telehealth exam but the codes 99421-99423 (G2061-G2063) are specific for Established patients. What would you advise we use for these New Patients? Thank you.

There are many offices, urgent cares, hospitals, clinics, etc.... that are doing the same thing, helping to screen patients for the virus but not actually "seeing" the patient, the patients are literally in their parking lots.. Also, this was on the News Conference that they were going to allow this to expedite the services. Does anyone at AAPC know of a ruling yet that will allow modified Telehealth services to be billed. One option I am researching are the 99446-9 series which allow New or Established patients, I am just stuck on the word "consultation".
