What is a dx for hypertensive diastolic blood pressure response to exercise? Any help is apprectiated. Thanks.
 
Hypertension due to Exercise

Hello.
There is not a specific HTN code for what you are asking. Here is my suggestion. Use 401.9 for the HTN itself. Then follow it with the E codes of E927.2 and an E code either from category E009 or E010. The second E code will depend on the type of exercise program it was.
