Hi I'm new to cardiology, hoping I got the code right... Coded 92928 LD ??

Procedure performed:
One- vessel PCI Drug -eluting stent - no atherectomy to diagonal artery
Second drug eluting stent was positioned proximal to the first stent in an overlapping fashion.
Subsequent femoral angiograms showed arteriotomy site below the bifurcation point.

Since its a drug-eluting stent, would it have to be code C9600 instead?

If you are billing for the facility, then yes. If you are billing for the Cardiologist, then no.
