Ok so I am brand new at this coding thing, I'm going to school in Pgh PA and I recently (just today) started a class in coding. I am a little intimidated to tell you the truth, not real sure if I can pick this up or not. I guess time will tell but if anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them. thanks:

I came into this field, at 46 years old, not knowing anything about coding. I got my CPC on May 31, 2009. You'll find it harder getting your foot in the door ( for a job ) and with no prior coding experience, than it is to pass the CPC!!! Good luck and make sure your school has a job placement program.

I myself just graduation with a diploma in medical billing and coding.
Am trying to find a job myself. Took the exam on july 11 waiting on results.

But my best advice do not give up. My instructor also told me if you can read you can code. Just know you anatomy and termnology very well that does help. And be patient with your self, sometime over thinking makes it harder.
