Can anyone help with the following OP report?
"The platysma muscle was divided and careful dissection allowed us to visualized the nerves to the scalene muscle. Next , using sharp dissection the fat was traversed until the omohoyd muscle was encountered. A branch of the external jugular was impairing our view and this was doubly legated and cut.. We visualized what appeared to be a portion of the brachial plexus which was being displaced by a cervical rib. Careful dissection allowed us to confirm this. Using an intraoperative stimulator we then performed direct stimulation to the nerve. We confirmed that we had C8 and T1 response. We performed a subperiosteal dissection in order to expose the cervical rib. The rib was resected all the way back to the spine and all the way forward to the clavicle."

Thank you
