We have a provider that brings his patients and their families in to the clinic for a counseling session. This is for recently new patients on dialysis. This is not training. Just what to expect from dialysis, how often, and what to expect in the coming months. He spends about an hour and half with the entire family. He currently does not bill for this. What would be the correct CPT and ICD-9. Thank you for your help.
