ankle peroneal brevis tendon repair
a curving linear incision was made posterior to the lateral malleolus. Dissection carried down to the retinaculum. The retinaculum was incised longitudinally. The peroneal brevis tendon was identified. There was a large longitudinal split tear approximately 4 cm in length. This was debrided of some synovitis, tubilarized and sewn together with
3-0 PDS. The retinaculum was closed with 2-0 Vicryl.The wound was irrigated thoroughly.etc.
