I recently had my first interview for a remote position coding Hospitalist E/M. I thought I would be a great fit for the company. I asked the manager why they decided to go with someone else? If it was just due to lack of experience in the
field or if wasn't that, if she could give me any advice on what I need to improve, but she never responded back.

So I am asking for favor. Please review my resume (see below) and if you find anything I need to improve, I would really appreciate the feedback.

A few things pop out to me:

1. You do not list any EHRs you are familiar with (ie: EPIC, Medhost, Cerner, Meditech etc....)

2. You do not list a proficiency level with any Microsoft products (ie Outlook, Excel, Word)

3. You do not list your CPC # (for quick verification purposes.)

4. You do not notate HIPAA certification, past or present.

I worked remotely and I know we used a significant amount of software (including Microsoft Outlook, calendar, excel and word) to interact with each other and with each hospital (I worked in revenue cycle).
