Wiki Need help with debridement during global period

Patient is post op carpal tunnel release and came in for a follow up visit during her global period and the doctor had debride the dead skin off using a debridement kit. I am unsure if this can be billed since it is during the global period or how to bill it. Would it be billed as debridement of the dead skin and the debridement kit or will the kit be included in the debridement. Need help on this one please.

Since it was performed in the office for a surgical issue (dead skin) it would be considered global and not billable.
