We are having a difficult time trying to code a specific surgery that one of our physicians performed
The doctor did a fulgration of a bladder tumor. Next he found a prostatic polyp which is suspicious for trasitional cell. He resected both tumors. I have the code for the bladder. But we are having a difficult time coding the prostate surgery of the polyp. The hospital where the procedure was performed used an unlisted code but I just want to exhaust all efforts to get an accurate code.
Any suggestions?
