Wiki Need Help Coding Colonoscopy mult polyps

Hi Just wondering if I could get help with the following: Colonoscopy to cecum
1) Snare polyp distal Ascending colon
2) Snare 3 polyps of midsigmoid colon
3) Snare 2 polyps of distal sigmoid colon
4) Snare 3 polyps of rectum

Thinking that I could code 45385 for #1 then 45385 -59 stating midsigmoid colon
45385-59 stating distal sigmoid colon and 45385-59 stating rectum

Unfortunately, you can only bill one 45385. Multilpe polypectomies can be billed but they must have been different locations as well as being removed by different tools:
i.e. -Hot biopy polypectomy in ascending colon
- Snare in descending
- ablation in sigmoid
You could bill for all of those, but if the same tool is used only one can be billed.
The CPT descriptors for each specific technique include language to indicate that each code should be reported only once even if multiple sites are treated with the same technique
