Wiki Need Advice, pls. Billing confusion!!

My employer owns a CT machine but it is housed in a facility in a town about an hour from us. The employees of this facility (which is owned by another company) will perform CT's for their patients and our doctor (my employer) will read the scans and generate a report. Because we own the machine, can we legally bill a global fee for this service or should we bill professional for the read only and the other facility bill the technical component? Thanks!

No, they do not pay us anything for use of machine.

I would recommend you bill global since the machine is yours. In the event you are paid for the use of the machine by the other company, then you would only bill professional.
