I am new to ortho and I need opinons on how to code for a procedure, please.

Does anyone know how to code:

Removal of right L5 screw with revision of rod and posterior segmental instrumentation, right side

Removal of the cross connector with reapplication

Evacuation of hematoma of epideral

L5 laminectomy with partial faceectomy and neural forminotomies

Exploration of wound

I'm making a few assumptions without the body of the report.

For the 1st two procedures- Reapplication of hardware 22849

Evacuation of hematoma- 22015

Lami/facectomy/foraminotomy- assuming its a "re-do" at the same level, so refer to 63042.

Exploration of wound- inclusive
