My physicians are using radiofrequency coblation wands to remove bilateral nasal swells bodies. They were told by product reps they could bill for each side with CPT 30117. I read you can only bill for one. Is this correct?
And what exactly should the diagnosis be, J34.3 for turbinate hypertrophy or J34.89 for other specified disorders of nose and nasal sinuses?
