Any thoughts on this would be appreciated:
..the patient had a small hump mostly on the left side of her nasal dorsum as a result of trauma. The patient had been assaulted. Local anesthesia was infiltrated and a left intercartilaginous space and a left intercartilaginous incision was made and a periosteal elevator was used to undermine the skin over the hump and then a rasp was introduced and the area was rasped down and this smoother over with the Diamond rasp. This appeared to correct the deformity so the intercartilaginous incision was closed with 3-0 plain gut suture.
Surgeon wants 21325 but description doesn't include the 'realigning of fractured bones' - just the rasping of the hump. I'm looking at 21209 but would like other opinions. Thank you in advance.
