What code would you use for nasal balloon dilation for a septal deviation when it sounds like the sinuses weren't involved? Would it be an unlisted code or something else? Everything I'm researching is showing 31295-31298 so I wasn't sure if I should use one of those with a reduced services modifier or if there's a better code. Here is the op note:

The acclarent balloon was then inserted on the nasal floor at the level of the left septal spur. This was then inflated and held for 1 minute before delating. The septal spur was medialized and the left inferior turbinate was lateralized at the same time. The balloon was removed. The nasal cavity was then noted to be more open.

If this is all that was done you would use the unlisted code 30999 but if there was an incision made made and some resectioning was done you could use 30520. I am assuming this was done the office. What you have described above would not qualify for 31295,31296.31295 or 31298.
