Although nail cleaning is a noncovered service (tell me if there is a billable code for this one), for purposes of tracking, what ICD9 code would you use? Any suggestions of how nail cleaning is addressed in other podiatry offices would be most helpful.

If your talking about nail debridement then the codes are 11720 for debridement of nails by any method 1 to 5 nails and 11721 for 6 or more nails.
