Wiki my facility wants to charge level 1 E&M for nurse visits, ie: suture removal etc is there any other ER that does this?

I've known some facilities to do this, but have also worked with some where this was done at no charge as a courtesy to the patient, usually in cases where the sutures were placed during a procedure at that same ER. It's a business decision that can impact patient satisfaction, but facilities are not subject to global period and may charge for their services, so there's nothing wrong with doing this if they so choose.
