Good Morning !
Does anyone know if a patient was seen in the office due to a motor vehicle accident, who should we bill first? Should we bill the patients health insurance or Motor vehicle insurance ?
I'm not sure if there is a louisiana that requires us to bill patient health insurance first. Please advise

In NY we bill the auto insurance, and if/when benefits become exhausted, we bill their primary insurance (if we are their PCP).

What happened with this? Just curious what Louisiana is doing. in California and Nevada, I would be billing auto insurance first of the liable party. Just curious what came of this.
