Can someone help me to understand the diffrence when coding MRSA 041.12 vs V02.54? Pt came in with abcess of leg, cx positive for MRSA.

V02.54 is for carrier or suspected carrier of MRSA, while 041.12 is for current bacterial infection, MRSA.
