I really need some help with this one, my ortho surgeon did a mpfl reconstruction (open) after first doing a scope procedure for debridement/synovectomy. I am stuck on coding this, first off, if i understand correctly i need to code the scope procedures as diagnostic only with the 51 modifier. How do i code the open mpfl - i am looking at 27428 - does this fit.

Anyone out there who can help i would greatly appreciate it.
