Wiki Modifier needed with G0008

I just got off the phone with Medicare Part B. We have denials for the G0008 because we also used the 90471 on the same claim and they state it is bundling. To unbundle, the G0008 requires a modifier. Does anyone know what that modifier is?

I know for Arizona, the flu codes to bill are G0008 & 90661. No modifier required for Medicare Part B

It's the same with NC. The problem is we billed another vaccine using the 90471 and that's causing the bundling issue. CMS said we have to use a modifier on the G0008 but did not tell us which one.

The 90471 should not be billed. It should be 90661 with the G0008

I don't think you are understanding my question. We billed the 90471 with another vaccine that does not use a G code. We also billed the 90661 with G0008. Mcr is bundling the G0008 with the 90471 and they say we need a modifier on the G0008.
