Please help!! If a physician (either same or in same practice) does a cardiac cath (ex 93454) and a stent on the same day, what modifier do I now put on the new cath code? Would I use 26/59 or 26/51??? Thanks!!
I agree with you, BUT, my boss now thinks its modifier 51 due to some requests for money back when 26/59 was used. Anything I can use for proof?? Thanks, Lynn Pickett CPC
