How many providers can bill this for 1 xray? If the chiro takes the xray and then sends out to be read, who gets the professional component. Or can both bill for the professional component. The xrays are taken usually on the first office visit and a e/m code is billed also.

Provider bills either the x-ray with no modifier as he owns equipment and does the reading with report or provider who owns equipment bills with TC modifier and the provider who does the reading and written report bills with the 26 modifier.
