Wiki Midwife labor billing, when unable to deliever naturally-how to bill labor hours?

We do Midwife billing and would appreciate your help with how to bill for labor management time - that does not result in delivery. The PT is transferred to the hospital for their birth, due to failure to progress, etc. We have used 99213 with 99354 & 99355 for the extended hours of active labor. Do you know how to bill this with better codes? Thank you for reading this post!

You can use the prolonged codes for service with 99350 (home)When using prolonged codes it has to be past the time as the highest level E/m. Hope this helps
